Staten Island Ferry

 The Sphere

 They are rebuilding the towers that were lost on 9/11.  The clouds look pretty reflecting on the side of the new building.

 A north and south fountain stand in the place of the towers.  The water cycles itself into a seemingly bottomless pit.  There is one tree in between the fountains that withstood the blow of the buildings.  I couldn't get near it for all the people that were surrounding it.

 A sweet friend of ours husband was trapped in one of the towers.

 There are tons of statues and sculptures all around Manhattan- there is so much history there.

 We waved to Lady Liberty from the ferry ride.

Apparently the Statue of Liberty goes home at 5:00 (and wears sunglasses...who knew?).
