Enchanted with Firsts

Do you remember your first kiss?   How about your first car?  In thinking about "firsts" I think of positive sweet images that are forever tucked away in my rather forgetful mind.  My first crush, apartment, job, the first time I wrote my married name on a legal document, and my first newborn baby to hold.  What first comes to your mind?  Firsts are imprinted on our very souls, exceptionally deep and lasting.  Today is a first for me-I am officially a blogger; one more title to add to my list.  I am very excited to embark on this excursion of journaling.
I have been thinking about this for quite some time now.  Why blog, do I have time to blog, will I be stalked by some bizarre blog-ator?  I have asked a lot of questions, have been blessed by reading others, and have come to the decision that today is my day!  It is my heart-felt prayer that this will be a blessing to all who read my posts, but mainly that it will bring glory to Christ.   Otherwise, it's just a waste of time which is a non-renewable resource.  My intention is to keep it real, share my heart, and have a memoir in progress.
SO, first things first, you need a name for your blog.  That takes some creative thinking.  Mine cultivated over time.  One thing about me is that I am a prayer warrior.  I have a burden in my heart that calls me to pray.  People are funny about it, some will say, "Since you have a connection with the Big Guy Upstairs would you mind putting in a good word for me."  Those who are closest to me know that what is dear to their hearts can be trusted to me to petition on their behalf.  I am a soldier in the Lord's army wearing the badge of prayer warrior.  That was the underlying motivation for me to start this blog.  I want to pray for you!!!  If you would like to leave a prayer request in the comment box I will be sure to include you in my quiet time.
The enchanted part comes from my rose-colored, Norman Rockwell, hopelessly romantic side that weaves its way through my character. Viola', Enchanted Warrior was born!
When I tuck my kids into bed at night (even my high schooler) I leave them with this sentiment:  May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and bring you peace.  Numbers 6:25
I pray that for you today dear reader.
