Pesto Recipes


This recipe is robust and thick and creamy:

4 cups basil
1 cup olive oil
1 cup parmesan or sheep cheese
1/2 cup pine nuts
3 cloves garlic
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. salt
Blitz in food processor.

This second pesto recipe is lighter and cheese-less (thus it is cheaper to make :)
4 cups basil
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cashews and brazil nuts
1 t. salt
2 T cider vinegar
1 T lemon juice
1/4 t. pepper
2 cloves garlic
Blitz, blitz, blitz
