Peek-a-boo

After we got home from church and supped together we went on a little walk.  Creation doesn't need a calendar to say that spring officially begins March 20.

The Alec tree has tulips and jonquils emerging from their winter's rest.

Our lavender bush, gone mad, has tiny little buds everywhere.

The forsythia is also warming up.

Any my favorite mother's day present, our lilac tree, is also preparing for the days ahead.  These flowers always blossom in time for teacher appreciation week and I get to share them with the kids teachers.  What an amazing fragrance!

Lord, prepare our hearts for the springtime season ahead.  May we blossom where we are planted and grow in the places you see fit.  Put an extra bounce in our walk and a sparkle in our day as we grow closer to you day by day.
